As I acquired the keys it seemed people were coming out of the wood work. News spread fast in this small town of Asheville.  I immediately made up a sign and stuck it out front. We were in business:

We didn't know what to expect. We simply knew God had called us to this building and the doors were open:

Very quickly we formed teams of people that knit together for Kingdom purposes. We started very small but we were faithful with what we had:

That first week was awe inspiring. We continually prayed, played worship music and began to acquire equipment to make coffee, sandwiches, etc. Help just showed up!

That week we began to immediately minister to street people and homeless. Little did we know what next Sunday morning would bring.
